The default administrator account credentials (admin/admin) provided on the device are clearly insecure. This document explains how to modify the admin password to ensure secure login and how to add user accounts. The steps below show how to replace the default admin credentials and add an account with the appropriate permission level. In practice, default credentials should be changed before deployment and each user should receive only the access required.

Step-by-Step Configuration Guide

Step 1: Connect to the Gateway and Access the Web Configuration Interface

Use an Ethernet cable to connect the R1520 gateway to your computer. Open a browser and enter 192.168.0.1to access the web configuration interface.

Navigate to System → User Management → Administrator Settings to change the password:
