How to Set up Remote Device Access with RobustVPN
This guide explains how to configure remote access to devices (like web interfaces) through RobustVPN.
Prerequisites
- RCMS account
- Robustel Gateway with RCMS connection
- Device with web interface in router's LAN
- PC for remote access
Configuration Steps
1. Create RobustVPN Group

- Navigate to RCMS > RobustVPN > Manage VPN Groups
- Click "Create"
- Set type as "Virtual IP + Pushed Subnet"
- Click "Next" and add your device to that group
2. Add User Access

- Go to Users
- Click "Add"
- Add the user to the VPN group created in Step 1
3. Verify Router VPN Configuration

- Check the router's status in RCMS
- Verify VPN connection is established
- Note the assigned VPN IP address
4. Setup Remote PC

- Download RobustVPN client application from Support > RVPN Manager
- Install the client
- Launch RobustVPN
- Log in with user credentials
- Connect to the VPN group
6. Access Remote Device

- Wait for the VPN connection to establish
- Access the device's web interface using its LAN IP
- Verify connectivity
Troubleshooting

- Ensure the router is online in RCMS
- Check VPN connection status
- Verify subnet configuration
- Confirm firewall settings allow traffic, both gateway and LAN device
Notes
- All devices in the configured subnet will be accessible
- No need to configure individual device routes
- Connection is secure through VPN tunnel
