Use eSIM Configuration in RobustLink to review the installed profiles on a supported device, add a profile from your eSIM provider and switch the active profile when required.
Before you begin: The device must have an eSIM chip or pluggable eSIM card. Sign in to the correct RCMS company and obtain the activation information from your eSIM provider.
Warning: Adding or switching profiles can briefly take the device offline. Plan a suitable maintenance window and make sure you can recover connectivity if needed. Deleting a profile permanently removes it from the eSIM.
Review profiles
- In RobustLink, open View All Devices and select the device's serial number.
- Open Configuration, select ESIM CONFIGURATION and open Profile Management.
- Review the profile nickname, state, provider and APN settings. Use the profile's view action for further details.
Add a profile
- In Profile Management, select ADD PROFILE.
- Enter the activation code and other details supplied by the provider. Review the information carefully.
- Select SAVE & UPDATE TO DEVICE and check the update status in the device's Configuration list.
Switch or remove a profile
Use the profile's Enable switch to change its state. Only one profile can be active at a time; enabling a new profile disables the current active profile. After switching, check that the device reconnects and the intended profile is enabled.
To remove a profile, first disable it, then use its delete action and review the confirmation. Deletion is permanent and can briefly interrupt connectivity.
Keep activation codes and profile identifiers secure; share them only with authorised people.
