Register an installation in Operations Console to keep the device and site details together. The installation list helps teams track deployed devices and return to the recorded site information later.
Before you begin: Sign in to the correct RCMS company with access to Operations Console. Gather the device serial number and the site information required for the installation.
Register an installation
- Select Operations Console in the top navigation and open Installation.
- Select Register.
- Enter the required device and installation details. For example, use a site name that helps your team locate the installation.
- Review the entries and select SAVE.
- Find the installation in the list and check its details.
Only devices with Registered status in RobustLink can obtain their device location automatically. Review the location shown for your installation.
Update installation details
Find an installation in the list, select its edit action, update the information and select SAVE. The device serial number and router IMEI cannot be changed in the edit form.
