Run a Device Site Survey in RobustLink

Site Survey lets you start a device survey and review its uploaded results and history in RobustLink. Use it to inspect the survey results from a device without visiting the site.

Before you begin: Sign in to the correct RCMS company and check that the device has an Advanced or higher licence. Enable Smart Roaming and Site Survey on the device.

Start a survey

  1. In RobustLink, open View All Devices and select the device's serial number.
  2. Open Site Survey and select Start Survey.
  3. After the survey finishes, open Survey Result and select View Summary to inspect the key metrics.

Results are uploaded to RCMS when Automatic Upload to RCMS is enabled. If it is disabled, view the results in the device's web interface. Use Survey Settings to review and update the automatic upload setting.

Review history and export

Open Survey History to review the last three months of survey history. Select entries and choose EXPORT, or use EXPORT ALL for the list. Check the downloaded Excel file.
