eSIM Failsafe settings let you configure the connectivity checks used by a supported device. Adjust the ping target and timing to suit the network on which the device operates.
Before you begin: Use a device with an eSIM chip or pluggable eSIM card, and sign in to the correct RCMS company. Choose a reliable ping target reachable from the device's network.
Review and edit Failsafe settings
- In RobustLink, open View All Devices and select the device's serial number.
- Open Configuration, then select ESIM CONFIGURATION.
- Review General Status Information. Select REFRESH to request the latest status.
- In Failsafe Settings, select EDIT and set Enable Failsafe to enabled.
- Set the Failsafe Ping Target, Failsafe Ping Interval and Failsafe Timeout for your network.
- Review the settings and select SAVE. The changes are sent to the device immediately.
For example, a network administrator can choose a reliable reachable target and timing that matches the required fault detection speed. Review the device status after applying changes.
