Edit Device Information in RobustLink

Update a device's information in RobustLink when its name or description no longer reflects where or how it is used. Clear device information helps your team find the correct device in RCMS.

Before you begin: Sign in to the RCMS company account containing the device with permission to manage devices. Identify the device by its serial number.

Edit device information

  1. Open RobustLink and select Add/Remove Devices.
  2. Find the device and select the edit icon in its Action column.
  3. Update the applicable device information. For example, use a device name that identifies its site or purpose.
  4. Select SAVE, then check the device in the list.

The device serial number cannot be modified. To change a device's group, see Move Devices to a Device Group in RobustLink.
