Move devices into a group to organise them by site or project and manage them with the appropriate group. You can select multiple devices and move them together.
Before you begin: Sign in to the correct RCMS company account with permission to manage devices. Create the destination group if it does not exist. Check its assigned users and group settings before moving devices.
Move devices
- Open RobustLink and select View All Devices.
- Find the devices to move and select the checkbox beside each one.
- Select MOVE GROUP.
- Choose the destination group and select OK.
- Open Device Groups, select the destination group and check that the devices are listed.
For example, move the devices at a new site to the group used by that site's operations team. Check the selected devices and the destination before confirming.
Devices in Ungrouped must be moved into a device group before remote changes can be made. To create a group, see Create a Device Group in RobustLink.
