Edit or Remove a Custom Device Report in RobustLink

A custom report template selects the device data fields you want to see together. Edit a template when your monitoring needs change, or remove a custom template you no longer need. Open the report from a device's Reports tab to view its data.

Before you begin: Sign in to the correct RCMS company account with access to RobustLink and custom reports. Identify the custom report you want to change. System default reports cannot be edited or removed.

Edit a custom report template

  1. In RobustLink, open Custom Reports.
  2. Find the custom template and select the edit icon on its card.
  3. Update the Report Name or selected data fields. For example, a team monitoring connectivity can keep the modem fields it needs and remove fields it no longer uses.
  4. Save the changes and check the template in Custom Reports.

View the report

  1. Open View All Devices and select the device's serial number.
  2. Open Reports and select the report card.
  3. Review the fields and values for the selected device.

The example report below shows modem status data for a device. Each row has a timestamp and values for the selected fields.

Remove a custom report template

  1. In Custom Reports, find the template you no longer need.
  2. Select the remove icon on its card and confirm if prompted.
  3. Check the list to confirm that the template is no longer displayed.
