End Device Management lets you record downstream devices connected to a Robustel gateway in a Virtual IP only RobustVPN group. Add the downstream device's address, then initialise it after the gateway connects to the VPN.
Before you begin: Sign in to the correct RCMS company, identify the VPN group and gateway, and obtain the downstream device's actual IP address. The gateway must be connected to RobustVPN before the end device is initialised.
Add an end device
- Select RobustVPN > Manage VPN Groups and open the Virtual IP only group.
- Select the gateway's serial number to open its end device list.
- Select ADD END DEVICE and enter the end device name, IP address and description.
- Select SAVE and check the list.
The end device IP address is required and must be unique among end devices associated with that gateway.
Initialise or maintain the entry
- Confirm that the gateway is connected to RobustVPN.
- Turn on the end device's End Initialization switch and select YES in the confirmation.
- Review the displayed status. Use the edit action to change an entry or the remove action to delete it when no longer required.
