RobustOS 5.6.0
R1510 · Released 19 May 2026
Release highlights
Important: signed App packages required
Apps already installed on your device can continue to run normally after upgrading to RobustOS 5.6.0. You do not need to uninstall them solely because of the new signature requirement.
If you uninstall an App and need to reinstall it, download a newer, digitally signed version of that App. RobustOS 5.6.0 and later will not install unsigned App packages. Have the signed replacement package ready before uninstalling an existing App.
This verification is part of Robustel’s security improvements in preparation for the EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). Learn more about Robustel’s CRA readiness programme.
Warning: rollback restrictions apply
RCMS blocks downgrades from RobustOS 5.6.0 or later to versions below 5.3.5. Do not treat other listed versions as guaranteed rollback targets. Validate the new firmware on a representative device before updating a fleet.

These files are retained for version-specific maintenance. A download listing does not mean that your device can install or downgrade to that version.
Downgrading from RobustOS 5.3.x or 5.2.x to 5.0.x or 5.1.x resets Link Manager settings to their defaults. Version order below is not an upgrade sequence.
