View and Export Alert Email Records in RobustLink

Use View Alert Emails to review email notification records for device alerts and export them for follow-up. This helps you trace notifications associated with a device group and a time period.

Before you begin

Sign in to RCMS, select your company and open RobustLink. To receive alert emails, configure the sending mail server and enable notifications for the relevant users in the device group. See Configure Alert Emails in RCMS.

Find alert email records

  1. In the left menu, select View Alert Emails.
  2. Set the Start Time and End Time for the period you want to review.
  3. Use the search field to find records by alert, group or description.
  4. Review the timestamp, alert name, group name and description in the results.

Example: Search for R1510 to find related online and offline alert email records. Compare the Timestamp and Alert Name to see when each event occurred. The Description identifies the device and recipient; the same event may appear in separate records for different recipients.

Export the records

  1. On View Alert Emails, select the start and end times for the records you need.
  2. Click Export to generate the file.
  3. Open Export Records using the download icon at the top of RCMS. When the file status is Ready, click its download icon.

When the notification log is Ready, use the download icon in the Action column.

A record identifies the notification activity in RCMS. If a recipient does not receive an email, check the recipient's junk folder and email security settings as well as the configured sending mail server.

Note: Export records are kept for 24 hours, so download the file promptly. An export is limited to 1,000 records. If you need more, export shorter time periods separately. Exported records may contain device and recipient information; store and share them securely.
